pollymod re-release! (Now with hopefully functional gameplay)


Hi, everyone!! After the very mediocre and not very great launch of pollymod, I've spent the better part of a week listening to feedback, fixing bugs, finding new bugs somehow, rebalancing, and adding some new equipment! Here's the full list of changes:

  • Removed Retuner ("Replace this with a random equipment on jackpot")
  • Replaced Bump with Bumpdacious: “Dice value +1, can return dice higher than 6”
  • Reworked BSOD: “When you trigger an error, you can still use 1 jackpot skill (Skill will be upgraded)” → “When you trigger an error, you can still use jackpot skills (Will always be 3 skills)”
  • Reworked Double Down+: “Recover 3 health and gain 3 shield when you trigger a jackpot” → “Recover 3 health and gain 1 reduce when you trigger a jackpot”
  • Removed a bunch of tags, added a bunch of tags, reworked some behind the scenes systems
  • Changed Empty Slot-: [EVEN|ODD] → [EVEN|EVEN]
  • Changed Inhibited Blade: [MAX5] → [ODD]
  • Removed Trickle Charge’s ability to do damage (which didn’t even work in the first place)
  • Reworked Trickle Charge: [MAX2] → [ODD], upgrade is still [NORMAL]
  • Added new equipment, “Sunken Costs”: [COUNTDOWN(50)] “Do 15 damage, this halves its countdown whenever you get a jackpot”, upgrades to “Halve enemy hp, this halves its countdown whenever you get a jackpot”, weakens to “Do 8 damage, this halves its countdown whenever you get a jackpot”
  • Fixed Bonus Slot not working with anything that could reroll your jackpot options
  • Fixed Bonus Slot not working outside of a vacuum (outside of editor mode, it now works in actual runs)
  • Jacked Switch now dynamically changes which slot shows the value of the dice inside
  • Reworked Bonus Payout limit break: “Use an extra jackpot ability, increase jackpot range” → “Use an extra jackpot ability, gain 2 jackpot shards”
  • Fixed the game crashing when you finish a run
  • Replaced Nudge with Wraparound: “Dice value -1, returns a six instead if dice is a one”
  • Nerfed Split Path: “Trigger all other jackpot skills” → “Trigger adjacent jackpot skills”
  • Fixed boss music not playing during the chapter’s boss fight
  • Jimbo’s Trick now works with illegal dice. Before, 1.5 x 6 would’ve given a 6 and a 3, now gives a 9.
  • Reworked Rng Manipulation: [REQUIRE3] > [COUNTDOWN(7)]
  • Fixed Split Path+ being able to show up in slots other than 2
